This list will give you an idea of the kinds of writing services I offer, but it is by no means an exhaustive list. If your writing project extends beyond the scope of this list, please contact me so we can discuss how I can meet your needs.
Proofreading
- Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Does not include style, wording, or sentence structure beyond mechanics of proper English
- Includes 3 reviews: initial reading, one proofreading and mark-up, and a final review
Editing
- Includes proofreading for spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Check for style (consistency), wording, and sentence structure
- Includes 4-5 reviews: initial reading, one or two edits, one proof, and a final review
Writing Services
- Web Copy & Content - web site copy, articles, blogs
- Copywriting - brochures, flyers, handouts, reports, newsletters, tag lines
- Business and Technical Documentation - executive summaries, mission statements, business plans, manuals, user guides, and help files, training and workshop materials
Critiques
- Includes a marked up copy with comments
- Written critique addressing strengths and weaknesses
- Does not include proofreading or editing, though frequent errors will be noted
Web Site Review
A web site review is a thorough analysis of your site, including:
- Layout, design, and content
- Functionality and navigation
- Copy review (brief critique of written content)
